Natural Fertilizers and Soil Amendments

Rabbit Hill Farm
Products

At Rabbit Hill Farm we're not chemists, and we're not horticulturists.

We're gardeners.

We pay attention to nature, and try to recreate the things she does. As we look around the countryside, we see how decaying plants and animal waste decomposes, is consumed by earthworms, and is used to feed the plants.

In the 1980's , our son Jeffrey raised prizewinning rabbits as part of a high school FFA project. We enjoyed those rabbits, and when we moved to the country in 1983 their descendants moved with us. We bought some worms to raise as fishing bait, and began to notice how rich the soil was around both creatures. It was nature in action!

Well, we did our homework. We found that 70 to 80% of the nutrient value of food that any animal eats comes out in the manure. As this manure decomposes the nutrient value is converted to a form readily available to plants. From this knowledge, Rabbit Hill Farm was born.
Rabbit Hill Farm is the only specialty fertilizer company using worm castings and rabbit manure as a foundation for all of its products. We blend all our material by hand out under the oak trees, combining worm castings and rabbit manure with other high-quality natural products and rock powders to benefit nature, the life of the soil, and the health of the plant.

At Rabbit Hill Farm our products are mixed and bagged fresh each week. It is very important to us to produce more than just a bag of fertilizer; we produce a "Bag of Life."

Product Spotlight:
ROSE FOOD
TOMATO & PEPPER FOOD
Rabbit Hill Farm Rose Food is a unique blend of all the good nutrients that feed the soil and the plant. The worm castings and rabbit manure build the enzymes and natural biological foundation; alfalfa meal contains tricontanol, a natural growth stimulator. The other natural products blend to make a balance of NPK, micro-nutrients, and trace minerals. Rose Food is an exceptional plant food and can be used on all indoor and outdoor plants to build strong roots, add more blooms and fruit. Try Rose Food on your roses and medium-feeding produce plants. Tomato & Pepper Food is blended special for both container and field grown plants. Tomato & Pepper Food is blended for produce; therefore, it does not contain bone meal. Rabbit Hill Farm carefully blends alfalfa meal for the tricontanol; worm castings and rabbit manure as a natural biostimulant; soft rock phosphate with colloidal clay for root growth and blooms to produce abundant fruit. Fish meal, cottonseed meal, feather meal, sulfate of potash, peanut hull, humate, greensand, and granite sand finish out the product to better feed the soil and the plant.
