Garden Chores:

• Plant now: Calendulas, English Daisy, Larkspur, Pinks, Sweet Alyssum, Stocks, and Swiss Chard, and Onion Sets
• Sow radish seeds
• Prune grapevines the first week of February
• Trim and prune roses by mid-February if you haven't already done so
• Weed and clean beds and borders
• Clean lawnmowers
• Put out thistle seed for finches which visit November through May
• Always water before a freeze
